Visa Bali - Indonesien

You want to stay in Indonesia for more than 30 days or start a business?
Our partner MPG Visa Services Bali offers all services related to visa, immigration and business. MPG also handles visa extensions and investor visas.

FAQ´s

Do I need a visa to enter Indonesia?

If you do not stay longer than 30 days, the most foreigner do not need a visa and can go directly to the passport control. However, fill out the customs declaration, even if it is not always checked. For stays of more than 30 but less than 60 days, you can obtain a visa on arrival (VoA) before passport control. The fee for this is currently $ 35 and is valid for 30 days. This can and must be extended in time at the immigration for another 30 days. For both visas: they CAN NOT be more extended! This requires an exit. A so-called overstay currently costs 1,000,000 rupiah (about 60 €) per day and can be punished with further measures.
The extension of the VoA should be best left to a visa agent. This is much more convenient and costs about 600,000 – 700,000 Rupiah (36 – 42 €). We can highly recommend our partner
MPG Visa in Legian.

Can I stay in Indonesia for more than 60 days without having to leave?

YES, but … You need a so-called Social Visa through an Indonesian Embassy BEFORE entering Indonesia. Again, we would recommend to hire MPG BALI. Further details and requirements can be found on the homepage of MPG.

This visa is initially valid for 60 days and can be extended by 30 days to a maximum of 180 days in total. This should also be done via MPG.

May I also work in Indonesia with these visas?

NO! This requires a so-called KITAS and a work permit (IMTA). It’s not easy to get this, but doable. Please contact MPG in Bali
